The girls were students at Taylor University.  I remember that accident.  My sisters both took classes there, but not in the same year as these girls.

DonnaH-I'm sorry your feet are hurting.  From what I understand about losing weight the only way to really lose the belly fat is to do the cardio needed to lose fat and when it gets to that area it will.  Unfortunately on me that's the last one to get going.

Jana-Did I read that right, you're back on the wagon this week and only went mildly crazy over easter?  Good job! :)  How's the bike?

Jord-You lost a bunch last year and you can do it again!  It sounds like you're already getting back into the mindset of healthy habits.  It is incredibly hard to get started, like Jana said. It's draining. But it's worth it, right?!

I blew off two weeks worth of weight loss potential and am now knocking on the door of my b'day with well, about 8lbs left to lose!! Yikes.  I haven't made it 24 hours without chocolate yet.  For me chocolate is an all or nothing thing.  I can't, literally can't have one or everything goes to pot.  It's my cryptonite. LOL

The good news is I do have two weeks before my b'day, well 1 week and 6 days.  And life doesn't end then so I can keep going.  Winners are the ones who fall and get up faster than those who fall and quit.

Chatty-Atlanta and 70 degree days.  *sigh* Sounds lovely.  We're still coated in snow.  More fell yesterday.  Have a great week!

Bev-Oh wow.  I have a frog in my throat and tears in my eyes at the moment.  I'm so sorry you're having to go through this.  I pray that the medicine works and you are healed and that your dh does indeed get to come  home, but that you have the help you need while home.

Jord-I'm sorry things are iffy now.  I hope things work out for you.
Donna-I read your Soldier book last night.  Tim said he was going to have to take it away from me, that it must be a terrible book since I was sniffling! :)  Good read.

Jana-YAY YOU! :) Sounds very reasonable to me. I did well all day until after work. Then I ate my bag of Cherry M&M's my grandma sent. YUM. I also had 3 or 4 other chocolates. They are gone now too. Actually not to bad for a first day back on track. I'm not beating myself up over it today and that's a good thing too.

I ate vegetables, fruit, carbs, protein and dairy yesterday. I did fine.

This morning I'm drinking my first Roll Up The Rim Tim's. . .Tim Horton's annual giveaway. I drink more TH this time of year than all the rest of the year combined. LOL THe funny thing is I still don't win! :) Oh well. It's fun and it's caffeine.

    Obviously we're hiding! LOL

No comments in nearly 3 days! Okay, I'll admit it first. I'm having a dickens of a time getting back on track after Valentines day. Eleven days of slipping and sliding!! But today I really want to be back on track. I think we're at 6 weeks away from my b'day. My goal is still makeable just going to take more work. Maybe I secretly like challenges?

How's life for all of you? How are you doing food wise? The chocolate cream cake is gone so today should be a touch easier. If the hershey's kisses and malted milk eggs were gone too that would help.

Now to go find a bowl of cereal and a piece of fruit. I CAN be good, I know I can. :D

    Have a great day!

I had forgotten about the eclipse happening the night Sir J died. This past eclipse was gorgeous. The last one for 2 years!

Jules-Sir J was lovely. Beyond description, really. There is no one like him and you're right he is loved and respected as well as missed greatly here. The room is quieter and not quite as filled with laughter as it once was. But still it's a good place to be, eh? :)

My girls are supposed to be getting dressed and making their beds. It's a bit too noisy up there for that to be all that's happening. I don't typically scream when I make my bed, do you? LOL

Time to get them going with their school work. It is Monday after all.

It's amazing the things that hold the potential for danger that we don't even know about. Thank God that little girl is safe! And you too Jules.

ANyone else had enough of the snow yet?! Bleck.

The girl who died in the avalanche in BC yesterday is the sister of a girl who attended the school I volunteered in 9 years ago. I know that's a whole 9 degrees of separation thing. Anyway. Their mom was killed tragically about 13 years ago. My heart is breaking for this family. So much pain.

Stay safe out there all of you, okay!

I think I'm mid-cycle but my body is so acting end of cycle. We had pizza from Pizza Hut for supper last night. I ate a cinnamon bun yesterday with cream cheese icing. Today I've had 2 pieces of leftover pizza and 6 graham cracker squares with icing. *YUM* Oh and last night I had a mongo huge bite of Black Forest fudge. And I'm disturbed by this!!! Also disturbed by the "I don't care" feeling which so isn't true.

I haven't walked at all this week and just don't want to. This is BAD. :( I won't make it to 20lbs down if I keep this up!!
