Hi Vicki, Isn't it neat when details just fall into place with a book? My family lives around Denver/ Boulder, not all that far away from Castle Rock, but I had no idea dairy farms existed in the area. Did you actually get to milk a cow?

Hi Ruth! It was fun meeting you at the RWA conference last summer. Hearts in the Highlands sounds fascinating. Love your cover! Only a couple more months and I can read it!

Hi Vicki, your story sounds like such fun! I love marriage of convenience stories. I have family in CO, but don't know the location of Castle Rock. Where is it?

I sure identify with what you're said about the release of your book seeming far away. I sold Courting Miss Adelaide two years ago. But now we're within days of the launch of the line! Can't wait to read all these historicals!

Laurie, Hill Country Christmas sounds intriguing! I'm going to have a ball reading all these LIhistoricals. I can buy books faster than I can read them so I'm always behind. Not a bad thing. Can't have too many books or shoes. Smile

This is my last official day at the launch party. I've had a ball chatting with everyone and getting the inside scoop from Melissa! It's been fun to see how many of us love historicals and are excited about the line. I've enjoyed hearing about all the wonderful historicals coming our way, and telling you a little about myself and my debut novel, Courting Miss Adelaide to release in September.

I'll be back to party with next week's authors and readers. Have a great weekend!  Janet

I'm awed by how well different departments work together to produce our books. My dream is to come to New York one day and get a peek at the world of publishing.

Melissa, the cover sounds beautiful!! Flirty and fun!! And perfect for a milliner. I love it already!!! I can't wait to see it! Thanks for giving me a "peek" at what's coming. You've made my day. Laughing

Hi Melissa. It's gloomy here but no rain today. Yesterday's weather must've moved to New York.

Thanks for all your hard work on this line. I want to add my kudos to Deborah Peterson for her lovely covers. I can't wait to see what she'll come up with for Courting Miss Adelaide!

I can't remember now why I missed that tour, Dream, but I know I'd have loved it. Old mansions and houses intrigue me almost as much as books.  Research books are tools of our trade. We just can't wear ours around our waists.

Hearing about all the books you have has me salivating, Val. Smile Thanks for great ideas on where to purchase research books.  I've found children's books are good, too, especially for an overview.  We have a fantastic library system here and a huge geneology section. But I prefer to own books or use the Internet.
