I just got word that my blog is up at www.goodbadandunread.com (The Good, The Bad and The Unread). It's called "Risky Love Scenes" and is mostly about "The Christmas Dove," my novella in the next HH Christmas anthology, but it touches on inspirationals, too. I'm delighted to be blogging at TGTBTU.  It mostly covers mainstream romance, so it's a nice place to spread the word about LIHs.

Hi Hope, I'm glad you're enjoying Bounty Hunter's Bride.  No spoilers here, but I had a couple of "aha" moments as I was writing it.  I do a synopsis because I have to as part of a book proposal, but almost inevitably something happens along the way and things change. That happened with BHB and I'm glad it did : )

How about for other writers?  Do you stick to your synopsis, or do things change a lot as you flesh out the story?

Hi Janet, I hear you on the A/C.  Thanks to some heavy thunderstorms, we were without power for 24 hours last week. I missed the A/C even more than I missed the computer and that's saying a lot.

Thank you for the kind words about Bounty Hunter's Bride. It was a joy to write.

Hi Janet,  I saw your cover on the Borders website. It's gorgeous! Loved her hat and the tilt of her head!  I wonder what she's thinking?

Borders is good place to check out LIHs because you can see the covers all lined up.  I'm headed there today (or to Walmart) for the June books : )   I don't want to miss out : )

Hi Linda,  My husband took some pics I plan to post on my blog once he gets them loaded on the computer.  Your book looked great!  In fact, all the LIHs shine.  We have the *best* covers.

I hope your local distributor has a change of heart.  Things vary tremendously in this area (northern VA/Wash DC) and I don't understand the logic at all.  I'm just glad we have Borders because they're consistent and they reorder.

BTW, THE ROAD TO LOVE is on my coffee table.  I can't wait to get to it . . . first things first, though. I'm on a roll with the current project. Two chapters to go, then I can read to my heart's content!  Smile

Ruth, your research trip sounds wonderful.  What was the best part?  The cafe or chatting with the marquis?

Hope, It's nice to know you got BHB.  I'm headed to Borders tonight to get Linda Ford's book. My husband  doesn't know it, but we're bringing the camera so we can take pictures of the books on the shelf Cool.  It's a bit cheesy but such fun!

I just got shot down memory lane!  My mom collected Green Stamps, but mostly we got Blue Chip Stamps from the local drug store.  I remember pressing them on to a sponge and gluing them in the books, then going to the Blue Chip Store where she got a lamp . . . a pole lamp with milk glass shades . . . or maybe they were gold?

This really is a great idea for a setting!  Go for it!
