- re: member of the month03/04/2008 - 20:54Hahaha, they didn't even tell you why you're awesome? I love it. Maybe it's just an award for general coolness?
- 03/03/2008 - 17:57I'm curious about the Members of the Month...is there a place to see a little blurb about the member, and why s/he was chosen? So far it just seems to link to the member's profile...but I'd love a "why" for the nomination. I'd love to see what people are contributing to the community.

Catie, I think you`ll find a lot of Bombshell fans around here...many of us who did the 10,000 Book Challenge blogs last year were huge Bombshell fans (like Penn above!). Bombshell and Luna are what brought me to Harlequin, actually...I`m not normally a romance reader. I was very sad to see the Bombshell line go.
I read your first two Strongbox Chronicles and enjoyed them thoroughly...loved the atmosphere and twisty plots. I`m still saving the third one, along with a number of other Bombshells...reading them very, very slowly to make them last
I finally finished Heart of Stone tonight (busy week!) and really enjoyed it (I adore gargoyles...didn`t know that was what the book was going to be about, so that was a wonderful surprise!). I`m glad to hear House of Cards is being released so soon!

I just started this one today (only 70 pages in) and am loving it so far.
I agree with Sam about Grit as a nickname--very cute and clever. I keep going back and forth on how I feel about Grit as a character (not a criticism--she's quite believable and it's fun to "grr" at her a little) but I love the name. I'm also liking Cole, and am really intrigued by the plot so far.
I haven't read the Walker Papers books yet because, stupid me, I've misplaced Urban Shaman and don't want to read the others without the first one. I think it's at my parents' house...huge grr to that. I've really enjoyed the Cate Dermody Bombshells, though, so that's why I took a chance and ordered Heart of Stone once I saw it was a new series.

Ahh, thanks, my misunderstanding Penn's misunderstanding led to more misunderstandings!
No worries, Lorie, I won't be deciding on my purchases yet for another couple of days...thanks
I didn't mean to be adding another to-do to your list!
- 01/08/2008 - 20:57Interesting...I've never followed the RITAs before so that sounds like a fun minichallenge!

Yep, no button to disable rich text for me either.
I'm happy enough now just knowing there's supposed to be one...eventually

Have this month's coupons been sent to everyone yet or do we have to request them?
I just placed a small eBook order without remembering about the coupons (whoops) so I'm not in a huge hurry...but I might order later this week.
- 01/08/2008 - 20:31Kathy, thanks for the tip on the 89 cents! I'm going to go make a mass purchase right now!
