Christa, after the outstanding success of the DDU series, I'm sure we authors would love to do another one some time in the future.

But it was such a magnificent feat getting 6 of us together, coming up with storylines and fitting them in a series of books that flowed from one to the other yet remained separate, and all that while we were under deadline for other books, well, it would be quite something to be able to achieve that again.

    But never say never, right?

And of course there was Anne Weale. Smile

Wayne, yes, it would be great to have a thread to discuss the M&B classics. I love discussing the older books and I'm sure others would too.

But I don't know what opera books Violet Winspear wrote. Or at least, I can't remember them. I'll have to go check out her bio on RomanceWiki, which gives a lot of information about all romance authors.

The next book I want to review of Violet's is "The Burning Sands". What a great title, eh? And it's a sheik book too.

Bren, I'm so sorry to hear about Becker. Hugs. I know how hard it is to let them go even though you're doing the best thing for them.

I had 2 dogs who lived to be 14 and 17, and now we've got 2 more dogs (from animal shelters) and 2 cats. One of those dogs, Lily, is an epileptic and she has just ruptured her cruciate ligament. The other dog, Larry, gets pneumonia every time the wind changes. But we love them both and wouldn't be without them.

And you have a dog called Maxine? I remember now. Someone else I know called her dog Maxine. We Maxine's are everywhere. Smile

Rae, hello. It's great to see you back again. I hope you had a great time at the RT convention. While you've been gallivanting around I've been sick... sniff.... with the flu... sniff. But I'm feeling much better now and can actually think clearly. (No comments please from the DDU ladies. Sealed)

I wrote a review for the Book Challenge recently. It was on an old Mills and Book book by Violet Winspear which I read years and years ago. Recently I bought some of her books off eBay and am re-reading them. I love walking down memory lane.

    Have a great day.
