Brenda -- I only watched one or two of the earlier episodes, but I can see an attraction to Dr. House.  The tortured soul who turns into the hero.

If we're talking heroes on movies and television, my all time favorite is Hawkeye in Mash.  I've always liked the reluctant hero with a gruff exterior and a heart of gold.

Beckie -- glad you got some loans from family to get you through the immediate bills.  Nice to know they support you.  I'm sure that means almost as much as the money.

Beckie -- I don't know much about children's books, except that it's best not to try to get your own illustrator. The publisher will want to do that. I think you will need an agent to pursue children's books. I also recollect that there are some children's book organizations you might look into.  Best of luck with this direction!

Nike -- Good for you.  It takes time to write a saleable book.  I am amazed, even after how many I've written now, that i need to revise as much as I do.  I don't think I've ever dashed out a book (I dream of it sometimes though).
