- Weather and Thanks and Good luck!!04/30/2008 - 09:48
The weather here has thankfully remembered that it is NOT high summer, but barely mid-spring after it had broiled us for a few weeks with unseasonal heat waves. Still, that sounds so undramatic compared to floods and snow and other natural phenomenons. ((( ))) everyone.
Nell!

I think I can answer your question about babies in Desire, by saying that from my experience, they're definitely not no-nos. My debut Desire, The Desert Lord's Baby, as it is clear from the title has a baby, who is pivotal to the story. You just have to be careful the presence of a baby raises the emotional impact and in the same time does nothing to diminish the intensity and sensuality of the H/h relationship.
I guess it's all back to the eternal adage, "It's all in the execution"!
Waving to all!!

I've AT LAST read Bron's Vows and a Vengeful Groom, and it's FABULOUS!!! On its own merit, and as a set up for the rest of the series. Ric and Kimberley were great characters!
Now I'm panting to read Tessa's and I have to postpone that, I don't know till when, until I clear the next accumulation of responsibilities (at work and at home) Waaaaah!
Great writing, Bron, as I'm sure many, many people have already told you. But you can never get enough kudos!

Thank you sooo much for the book - I've just finished reading The Sheikh Surgeon's Proposal and Malek is simply divine! I had tears in my eyes by the end *sigh*
Oh, Christina! Thanks so much for letting me know. I'm so happy you enjoyed the book...and Malek. He'll always have a real special place in my heart, since he was my first Sheikh.
Hope all is well with you, too!

Since the extensor digitorum muscle extends the phalanges, then the wrist, and finally the elbow any severe injury to it will affect all these action and therefore interfere with all the fine movements an artist needs. So yes, it can have that outcome. Also according to the severity of injury, I can see doctors, according to their experiences with this type of injury and their policy of voicing worst-case scenarios or going for the optimistic route, having both views of the outcome.
Hope helps!

Mega apologies for taking so long to answer. Life interfered in a big way (and dentists) !!!
You asked:
I've been all over the internet and can't find what I'm looking for. I'm working on something for Harlequin American and one of the secondary characters is excpecting sextuplets. Basically what I want to know is how many weeks along would she be before this is discovered, and when or if would she suspect she's carrying more than one child?
Also if you could point me in the direction for information pretaining to this type of multiple pregnancy/birth would be awesome. Nothing too techinical. I'm a total layman. I'd hate to consume the thread and your time with tons of questions I'm sure to have. :)
A multiple pregnancy can be detected by vaginal ultrasound as early as 6 weeks and by an abdominal ultrasound by 7 to 8 weeks (calculated from the woman's last menstrual period). However, a multiple pregnancy is not usually confirmed until about 10 to 12 weeks, when a clear outline of more than one head is able to be detected and separate heart beats can definitely be confirmed. It has been known for ultrasonographers to mistake small sacs of fluid or blood in the uterus for twins during early pregnancy.
As for a direction to look at here's a good site: http://ninemsn.birth.com.au/Info.asp?class=66&page=
Hope helps!
