Well, the reader does for getting pictures on cards for the photo frame we bought for the hubby's birthday Monday.  Perfect timing on the advice!  I actually knew what to do!  How awesome was that?  Laughing Today I hope to try and save my books and such to the cards.  VERY excited!  THANKS AGAIN!

New gadget to me!  :-)  I'll have to look into it.  I had to reread your post before it hit me, there is a gadget for just reading the cards...too cool!  lol Thanks!

Thanks Jane!  Good luck with your writing and 'taking it a bit easier'(from your blog).

Thanks Kate!  You are right, it is always a good idea to choose our words carefully and I'm always conscious of this.  I think both Kate W. and Anne have good points though--I was getting a bit too wrapped up in this and was making issues where there need not be any.  :-)  Nerves.  :-)

Kate W. -- I just wanted to tell you -- I'd received your newsletter the other day, went and bought the ebook bundle of your Alcolar Family series and then asked my question.  It was such a neat and wonderful surprise to have you be the first to respond to my question!  Too cool!  :-)  Just had to share!

THANKS Kate!  I kind of figured that but in getting things ready to go out the door, and as I double checked everything to make sure I'd dotted all my i's and crossed all my t's(so to speak) all kinds of possibilities started going through my head.  Panic that the moment was finally here setting in I guess.  Cool

    Thanks!!!

    Hello All --

I'm getting my submission for Presents ready to go out and have come across something which I can't decide is or is not a big deal and thus am hoping some of you might share your thoughts.  Smile

I have a website and blog.  The title, if you will says, Romantic Suspense with a touch of paranormal---I love to write suspense and contemporary and plan to continue to do both.  In my introduction I do say I write both but the main focus I guess has been on the suspense.

Would it be a plus or a con to add my website addy?   Or neither?  Any thoughts?  I'd hate to have them see it and have the possibility of the story being rejected based on the fact I like to write suspense too.  Or maybe that's just getting too picky.  Smile

    Thanks to everyone!

I love your point and found myself examining what I've read, the ones I've loved and then my own story currently in the works---it is an important point--THANKS!

    Hello Everyone!

Glad to hear you are enjoying your new purchase Lys :-)

As most of you already know I bought a PDA a few months ago--my favorite program is Mobi--it is the most versatile.  I would purchase all my books in that format but some places don't allow that.  My next choice for format is the MS Reader and what I'm wondering is anyone here knows of how to set things so that the books are saved not on the device but on the card?

I love that with Mobi I can choose where to save my books.  With MS Reader you simply drag and drop your book into a folder on your device--there is no folder for the card(well not that I'm seeing or am aware of).  This takes lots of space!   And I'm running out!

I thought to save the books to a flash drive as a backup because we all know that computers do go down now and then and the last thing I want is to not have a backup and lose my books/money!  I haven't tried this idea yet simply because it would be so much easier to be able to have my back up on the card for my PDA with all the other books I have. I thought I'd ask on here with the resident experts!  :-)  I have search the microsoft's website but... didn't find anything.

    Thanks!

Awesome Wayne!  I used to only purchase a book or two at a time--I was carrying them and was aware of how many I truly was getting.  Now its nothing for me to 'forget' how many I've stuck in my cart and end up getting a ton!    Laughing

    Have fun reading!

Thank you so much Dee!  It was one of those things that no matter how much I tried googling, it just never 'truly' answered me.  Thanks!  =)
