Hi Jennie. I used to live in Germany years ago. In Bitburg. I'm another one who suffers from chronic procrastination and ADD. And last year was my first NaNo year as well. It looks like we have a lot in common even though I'm almost eleven years older than you, lol. Welcome. I started coming here about seven years ago and at the time I didn't view myself as writing romance either and I certainly didn't read it. But then I started doing the hundred book challenge about a year ago and half of the books had to be HQN and I suddenly realized that I'd been writing romantic suspense and not just suspense all along. You learn something new every day, I guess. When I made that realization was when I joined RWA and it's been all uphill from there. :) Anyway, welcome again.

I only just started writing with the intent to publish in the last year.  Before that I was just writing to get it out of me.  So I think for most people a moment comes where you start to wonder why you're sitting in the dark typing at three in the morning when you aren't going to do anything with it, lol.  At least that's what happened to me.

I'm here.  I'm working on editing a request for revisions on a Presents.  So cross your fingers for me.  I haven't heard anything about ATD.  I'm going to go on the great agent hunt soon.

I don't think we are doing much.  The Mr. has four days off so that's good.  I think we will be going on a picnic with a friend of his from high school.  Who once broke my ankle but that's a wholly different story.

It's the Connecticut RWA contest.  You know most chapters hold a contest every couple of years.  I'm glad you helped me too.  I feel like you held my hand while I was giving birth or something, LOL.
