"As far as secretary Gina Leighton is concerned, billionaire businessman Harry Breedon has never shown more than a professional interest in her. Why should he? Plain and plump, Gina knows she's hardly trophy-wife material!
But Harry has noticed her-sexy curves and all-and now that Gina has another job offer, he'll have to act fast. This handsome tycoon is determined to seduce her into staying-even if that means making her his wife!"
Oh, wow! Was this ever good. It made me laugh, it made me cry - I couldn't put it down!
Gina was so in love with Harry and was in agony over her unrequited love. To save her sanity she decides to quit her job of 11 years and leave her home, family and friends to start a new life in London. Harry can't believe it - she's leaving? He was shocked when the day finally arrived and she walked out the door - the office gossip had bet she would change her mind. Gina never did anything exciting.
I loved this book - many of the chapters are told by Harry and his confusion over his feelings for Gina and his self-talk - are priceless. And Gina, as much as she is in love with Harry - she still knows he's a jerk. Most of the book takes place over the 3 days before Gina is leaving, so it is fast-paced.
I highly recommend this one.

Another book for my pile.
Wonderful review. I want a book that will make me laugh and cry! And I enjoy a fast paced read. I hope I can find it.
Hi ElleJay
This one sounds so good. I recently read and loved Anything For You by Sarah Mayberry. It had this theme too. If you haven't read it, I think you would love it. It is a Blaze. I had to read the ebook version but I found myself a print copy and hopefully it's on its way to me now. I've got to get this one.
Margie :)
Hi Jill & Margie!
Jill - the book is great - I'm sure you'll find it since it is a July release.
Margie - thanks for the tip - I'm not a big Blaze fan but I'll look into this since you recommended it.
I'll look forward to hearing what you both think of this book!

I ordered it.
It should be here in a week or two.
Of course I'm gonna have to count this to my book tally for the month. I have only read 8 books this month which means I am only supposed to allow myself to buy 6 next month. That plan is already sinking to the bottom of the idea barrel as I just bought seven books from eHarlequin. I suck. LOL On the brighter side I still have a day and a half before this month is over so I can squeeze in a few more reads, right?
I couldn't stick to your plan!
I admire your discipline! I've bought 214 books this year and I've read 117 and I've been given a number of books too. My TBR at the beginning of the year was around 500 so with this kind of math I don't think I will ever break even!
Oh well, I love my books. This summer I am planning a keeper and TBR culling session. I did a keeper cull about 2 years ago and I think I need to do it again. I'm running out of room. My tastes have changed over the years so I definitely need to cull the TBR and just keep the historicals and regencies from my very favourite authors. I am trying to be realistic but it hurts when I know I bought them for a reason years ago. I also need to get rid of books that others have given me. I know I won't be reading most of them.
