13. Texas Ransom

Holy lick!  That was an awesome read.  It's been a while since I've read a Stevens (don't ask me why) and I gotta say I won't be missing anymore.  Sure, not a lot of sex (sorry, single, celibate, sex matters) and not detailed either (it really matters), but she makes up for it with amazing amounts of suspence.  It felt like old-school Johansen, but better.  Much more psychological than action adventure and the H&h aren't together for than two chapters through the entire book.  It was great!
