Payback in Wayback- Corey Donovan has spent the last 12 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit and has come back to Wayback, Texas for payback. Not only had loving Tiffany Covington (nee Glory) landed him in jail but she had also denied him his son. But was everything he told himself about Tiffany true?
We had a very good story here. Naturally Corey was bitter about spending 12 year unjustly in prison and then stubbornly thinking that the woman he loved did nothing in his defence. It took his son to finally get him to see the truth. Tiffany was a wonderful h. No matter the bitter words Corey threw at her she didn't back down. I like the fact that she told her son the truth about Corey, so he would have a good relationship with him. Corey was stubborn. It took others to show him the truth. But when he realized how wrong he was, he more than made up for it.

Roped and Tied- 4 years ago Jericho Farrell accepted a job that took him away from Wayback, Texas and Eden Sawyer. To Eden it was an act of betrayal. Sawyer Farms sponsored Jericho in bull riding but his passion was calf roping. He signed on with a competitor who would sponsor him in calf roping. Eden couldn't understand why this was so important to him. Just after she found out she was pregnant, Jericho got married, so she never told him. She didn't want to ruin his marriage or his career. After Jericho was in an accident and needed weeks to recuperate, Eden offered Jericho a place to stay in her house and a chance to get to know his son. Could Eden be more than his friend's sister or her son's father? Could Eden give Jericho another chance?
I liked that Eden stood up for herself when Jericho tried to shift all the blame to her about not telling him about his son. At that point I didn't like him much but he also didn't accept that it was his entire fault. They both finally agreed that they were both to blame. I think in the beginning Eden held a grudge too strongly.

wayback series?
Lynda- did authors get together to write series or did authors just follow guidelines at Wild Rose and submit? Do you know if there will be more Wayback books?
