4.5 stars ~ Doesn't matter how often I hear, or read, Stuart McLean's witty, charming and laugh-out-loud stories I'm always taken into the world of Dave and his wife Morley and their two growing children Stephanie and Sam... and laugh? Oh my YES! But it's more than just humour; in amongst the oft outrageous adventures, there is always truth and love and family. A sure winner every single time.

When I was reading Morley's story and her (mis)adventures
with a 'Book Club', Stuart McLean closed her chapter off with
some words that I found very apropos... especially here and
I wanted to share them:

"The books she will read will take her to worlds beyond her own,
and it is always more fun to travel with friends."
