Stella ran a B & B in rural Arkansas -- or did she? What was going on when Adam came up the sidewalk looking for a place to stay? How did he help her out?
And why was he there in the first place? Ex-navy, ex-cop -- he was way too young to be retired, at least that's what she thought.
What did Adam help Stella find out about her mom? Was it good, or bad? Did he get along with the rest of her family? Did he get along with his own family?
Another great book from Lenora. I loved the opening -- and the conclusion. . . I loved all of it.
