#34. Skin Deep by Nora Roberts. Silhouette Special Edition 1988

This is the story of Chantel, third book in the O'Hurley series by Nora Roberts.  She was the first-born (so somewhere in the series it probably tells what order the other two were).  She gave her mother more trouble than her two sisters put together -- and it lasted well into adulthood.

Chantel was a famous actress.  She was being harassed by an admirer.  Into the picture steps Quinn, very reluctantly.  He was expecting someone spoiled and snobbish.

As they got to know each other, they realized that she was neither spoiled nor snobbish, and he was a lot more than a two-bit P.I.  So how did he go about tracking down the person stalking her?  Was she in real danger, or was this "admirer" harmless?

Nora continues to carry on her tradition of excellence.
