#35. Without A Trace by Nora Roberts. Silhouette Special Edition 1988

This is book number 4, and the grand finale of the O'Hurley series.  This is about the brother to the triplets.

Twelve years ago Trace had left the family performances to "see the world" as the saying goes.  In twelve years he had not been back to see his family.  They didn't even know where he was.  Or if he was even still alive.

Along came Gillian, looking for her brother and niece, who had been kidnapped.  Why had she been sent to Trace?  He looked like nothing other than a drunken bum.  So how come, when she woke up beside him in bed the next morning, she knew she was safe?  Did they find her brother?  Why was the group holding him so well known to Trace?  Did he finally find the reason to go back to see his family?

A wonderful end to a wonderful series.

Oh gee, I might get caught up yet.  If I could do 5/day, I'd be caught up in 2 weeks -- well, it's nice to dream. . .

I can but try.  Smile
