Logan feels guilty that he couldn't make his late wife happy so he tries to fulfil her wishes for a baby by asking her best friend to be the surrogate carrier. Logan and Shani have never got on, she's always blamed him for Arianna's unhappiness, but she accepts and he insists she move into his guest cottage and as she gets to know him better, they fall in love though Logan stays in denial. Will they marry to give the baby a real family? Is Shani paranoid or is a green car really following her everywhere?
Nice story, I liked the insight from Arianna's diary, like the rôle played by the missing pages. I loved Shani's family and how they didn't fool her mother. Nice heartwarming romance.
