Miranda Blake is a reporter investigating the Calhoun bankrobber family because their three-million dollar last heist has still not been found. She moves to Whitehorse following up on a lead because one of the brothers was arrested near there and now he's out on parole and has disappeared. Cade is still mourning his wife's death six years later when Miranda tells him the person he thought was Grace was actually Starr Calhoun. Did his wife fake her death and escape with the money or was she murdered? Is Miranda's stalker linked to the case? Cade falls in love with Miranda but can he forgive her for demolishing his memory of a happy marriage?
Very nice intrigue, good twist at the end, slightly excessively fairy-tale conclusion.
