#386 Hired by Mr Right - Nicola Marsh (HR #3834)

Sadhbh
Format: Print Books

Samantha can't get her family to take her seriously so she takes a job as Dylan's butler/PA while telling her parents he's her boyfriend and about to propose. Then she falls in love, but how will he react when he realises what her family thinks?
I sympathized with Sam's problem with family expectations and family not listening to her. Nice romance. However the cover imps struck again. Lovely photo of a couple. He's not holding her up, her feet arrive just under his knee, so she's just floating on air. I know love is grand but still!

Floating on air

So glad you enjoyed Hired by Mr. Right, Sadhbh.

It was my 3rd book, seems like a lifetime ago :)

With the cover, it's actually set in a real place, Southbank in Melbourne.  Sam is standing on a raised bit of concrete next to the river, hence the 'floating on air' appearance.  I loved your analogy, love is grand and her floating.  Brilliant!

Hi Nicola - thanks for the explanation

because given that the hero is holding his jacket over one shoulder, it was extremely obvious he wasn't holding her up

Hugs
