#398 A Wedding in Warragurra by Fiona Lowe (Medical)

Format: Print Books

Baden, single father of a preteen, falls in love with Kate, a young widow, criticized by the town because she dared leave her alcoholic husband who then committed suicide. Baden made a life plan with his late wife and is determined to stick to it and put his daughter first. But does that have to mean turning his back on new love with Kate?
Nice romance, I liked the way the town came to acknowledge that Kate's ex had genuine, serious problems. Didn't like the way her friends and colleagues gave out to Kate when she'd saved Sasha.

Hey Fiona - I was rushing with a big backlog

when I blogged this, so I may not have put in as much detail as you hoped for, I loved the way Baden put Sasha first and how Sasha didn't feel that changing their life plan was being disloyal to her mother, also how she called him to order, pointing out that they used to discuss things and disagree at times. I loved Kate and how she dealt with nasty stuff and remained strong and true to herself.

Hugs
