Garnet Lacey Book 3

RIght off the bat, I have to say that the illustrator for the book cover of this book was exactly on target!  How nice to see a cover that really represents the story and the characters involved. It shows Garnet on her bike, with her cat familiar and the mysterious wolf that keeps popping up around her.  Bravo!

Told in first person by Garnet, as were her other books, this book finds Garnet, a high witch with a goddess living inside her, and Sebastian, her vampire boyfriend, starting to form a new coven, now that Garnet is no longer being chased by the Vatican hunters.  Only then Sebastian disappears and strange things start happening to Garnet.  To whom shall she turn?  Who can she trust?  And WHERE is her boyfriend?  Then her goddess, Lilith, keeps making unexpected appearances, not to mention the kind of scary wolf that keeps popping up around her.

Garnet and her crew are always good for a laugh.  I do recommend that the previous books be read prior to this one as the character development and some of the relationships might be hard to pick up if you started with this title.
