Heart of Texas Book 3:
Dr. Texas is Jane Dickerson. She is working in Promise, Texas as their general doctor for three years in order to write off some of her school loans. She is originally from California and is having trouble getting the towns people to accept her. Cal Patterson is sworn off women ever since his last girlfriend left him almost at the alter. But somehow, Cal finds himself offering Jane riding lessons. Also within this story is the continuing saga of the ghost town in Texas. Jane is fascinated by the idea of a ghost town and is determined to find it. We also have the continuing story of Frank and Dovie. Dovie has decided it is time for Frank to either marry her or break up...
This is a nice series, though I wouldn't reccommend reading them almost completely backwards the way I am. THey can stand alone, but the story of the ghost town runs throughout them all.
