Almost Naked, Inc. by Karen Anders, Blaze 7/2005

Almost Naked  may not be what you think!

Almost Naked is a fabulous fabric that was a mistake!  Bridget Cole goes back home to regroup after loosing out on a modeling contract she was counting on.  A case of counting your chickens before they were hatched.  Bridget is staying with her Aunt Ida and next door is a man that was her friend when they were children and teens.  Now, Matt is all grown up with a Ph.D, a professor and an inventor.  Bridget and Matt have not seen each other in 12 years but the last time they were together there was that kiss that neither of them has forgotten.  Will they pick up where they left off or have the years changed their friendship and their chemistry?

Matt likes is nice quiet, well organized life.  When Bridget moves back in next door all that changes and Matt is not sure it is for the better.  After showing her the cloth that came about due to a mistake she finds uses for it that Matt would have thought about.  Bridget is in need of an income and suggests a way for Matt to use the cloth.  He likes her suggestion so much he makes her CEO of a new company, offers her a salary and a chance to take her career in another direction.

Bridget can't seem to realize that she can have a career other than modeling.  She feels she has failed despite her years of success in the cut throat fashion world.  Bridget still doesn't see the opportunity for even bigger and better things as a designer starting off with the fabulous clothing she has made from the cloth Matt invented.  The cloth is soft, sensual and feels so good next to your skin that she names it Almost Naked. Her designs with the wonder fabric make wonderful lingerie and other clothing for women.

Do Matt and Bridget mix business with pleasure, does Bridget finally realize that modeling is not the only choice for her, do they explore what other kisses might lead to, can they learn to combine their very different worlds?

An enjoyable read of an earlier Blaze. Smile

Good idea...

If you read this I will be curious to see what you think.  This woman was so focused on modeling she couldn't see the potential to do bigger better things.  I liked it.  Matt was yummy!

When are you going on holiday?  Lucky you.

I'm hoping I'll find an occasional cybercafé but not convinced I'll have access even so
