Always A Mother by Linda Warren-Everlasting Love-June 08

#33-How would you react if you were 43,mom to 2 grown daughters, and going to start college in little over a week only to find you are pregnant? Linda Warren does a wonderful job sharing the very mixed emotions of Claire Rennels with us.

Dean Rennels is helping his mom,Bunny, move into her new townhome, but has to do it without his wife,Claire, who is too sick to help. It suddenly hits her, when was her last period? After a pregnancy test reveals the shocking news, her plans of college and enjoying life with her husband of 25 years, and being out of debt, get sidelined.

Needing some alone thinking time,Claire packs clothes and oddly her stack of old letters she had written to Dean and heads to their house on Lake Travis, northwest of Austin. While she is there her mind and memories at times overwhelm her and leave her even more confused.

When Dean arrives home to a silent house and finds the note she wrote him he heads to the lake house. They talked but nothing was solved, only added to Claire's already befuddled thoughts. She asked Dean to leave but she finds him asleep in the lounge chair the next morning.

Once Dean does return home he comes up with a way to encourage Claire, but it truly was love that made him think of this. This and other events finally convince her of the answer she knew deep inside to their future.

I won't reveal the epilogue as I don't want to ruin it for anyone else, but being an Everlasting Love book you know it has a happy ending. This is one I think most would enjoy reading, and it shows why Linda Warren is an autobuy and keeper for me.

EL

How do the Everlasting Love books compare now that they've merged into another line?  Are they still that wonderful, full and rich story we'd come to expect from the EL line? It sounds like it from your review and I've kept buying them but thought I'd ask to see if that is truly the case.

Do you like the Everlasting

Do you like the Everlasting Loves now that they are under Supperomance?  I keep buying them but I am so far behind on my reading that I haven't gotten to them yet. I think I have this one but I had better check.  I adored the first ELs but I have been nervous about reading them but from your blog this one sounds good.  Thanks for this blog.

Thanks Aunt Cheryl!  I am

Thanks Aunt Cheryl!  I am so far behind on reading so I am glad to know I am not the only one.  I had to move some of my books out of the bookshelves in our bedroom because it made me panic to even see them!  Normally, I love looking over at my bookshelves and seeing what books I have to read. Thanks--that's a huge help for my shopping plans.  I really adore EL and just keep buying them and feel terrible for not getting to them yet.
