Bachelor Boss by Christie Ridgway (Special Edition #1895)

Years ago I read a book by Christie Ridgway. I liked it, but never went out to buy another of hers. Looking for more Special Edition titles I came across Bachelor Boss, recognized the name and bought it.

The story: Lucy Sutton wants to get over her longtime crush for Carlo Milano and decides working for him might just do the trick. Carlo always thought of Lucy as his friends' younger sister and managed to ignore any attraction. That is about to change.

LOVED the book! When he tries to hide in a dark corner she is his light, when she is insecure he is there to support her. The friendship, the sizzle, his believe in her, her compassion for him... make this one wonderful, entertaining and very satisfying romance story. I can totally recommend this book. This time I won't wait years until I read another title by Christie Ridgway. And with a few exceptions I seem to have found in Special Edition a line that fits my tastes perfectly.

Carlo is also in the Bridemaid's Bet.  Franny is his sister.  I was hoping that Christie Ridgway wrote about Franny's brothers too. I will have to get this one.  Funny that we both read books by Christie Ridgway this week.
