Blurb:
From Instant Heiress…
Her billionaire mentor’s invitation to go sailing with his family seemed a timely break for diver Katsu “Kat” Espinoza. Until she saw the yacht’s captain--Will Ashton, her treacherous, still-too-appealing ex--and her mentor made a shocking announcement: Kat was his newest heir!
To Prey?
She could handle the angry accusations, the ice-cold shoulders. But when the boat was wrecked, stranding them all on a deserted island, Kat suspected that someone had a more permanent solution in mind. With the survivors looking to her for leadership and Will being maddeningly secretive, Kat considered who among them might be truly dangerous.
Then the survivors began to disappear, one…by one…
My thoughts:
Very exciting, riveting read! It started slightly slow for me but once they were on the boat things picked up more. It had me guessing the whole way. I never saw who the suspect was coming or the whole twisted idea of why they were doing it. I have read books before by Crystal Green and have always found her a very entertaining story teller. Very well done you could just feel the tension and fear building. The ending was a exciting nail biter with a emotional ending. I would have loved to see more between the h and H they had some issues that needed to be resolved that kind of were. I really loved the heroine she was very brave and a kick butt woman! I also loved the concept of being stranded on a deserted island with a murderer on the loose such a fun scenario!
People who look down on others are the real freaks of this world.
