Blurb: Her billionaire mentor's invitation to go sailing with his family seemed a timely break for diver Katsu "Kat" Espinoza.
Until she saw the yacht's captain--Will Ashton, her treacherous, still-too-appealing ex--and her mentor made a shocking announcement: Kat was his newest heir!
She could handle the angry accusations, the ice-cold shoulders. But when the boat was wrecked, stranding them all on a deserted island, Kat suspected that someone had a more permanent solution in mind. With the survivors looking to her for leadership and Will being maddeningly secretive, Kat considered who among them might be truly dangerous.
Then the survivors began to disappear, one...by one....
I have to admit this is the third time I've picked up this book. The beginning is slow and even skimming the pages I struggled to get past it this time around. Once they get on the boat the story picked up and got my attention. Great mystery, I was caught off guard by who the killer was. A decent read, but not one I'll be keeping.

That's good to know.
This book and I have a history. I have bought it THREE times.
Each time I think "oh wow, that sounds good" but then I don't read it and it gets shuffled in to the monster of a TBR pile that I have. It won't happen again though, I think after the last dummy moment of mine it is permanently stamped in my brain with a "warning" on it. LOL
It's good to know about the slow start. Thanks for that. I usually set a book back down assuming it's gonna be slow throughout. I'll be sure to stick with it.
LOL I've boughten books
LOL I've boughten books multiple times before. Funny that we both had a 3 issue with this one.
