In this book, Percy and his friends must try to find Daedalus's workshop in the hopes that they can convince him to help Camp Half-Blood and not Kronos's army of monsters who are set on attacking the camp through the Labyrinth so that they can circumvent the magical boundaries of the camp. Percy's friend Grover the satyr is also continuing his quest for Pan. Of course, Percy and his friends must battle familiar mythological monsters and face betrayal along the way.
As always, I LOVED this book and would recommend it for both adults and young readers alike. When I first started this book, I told myself that I was going to go slowly and savor it since I will have to wait for the final installment of the story until next year. I did a chapter a week--up until chapter 5, which I read yesterday. The next thing I knew, I was 2/3 of the way through the book. Ooops! Might as well finish it off, so I did.
