It's been sixteen years since wolf Bobby Ray Smith left Jessie Ann Ward and Smithtown to join the Navy. When he runs into her again at a function his firm provides the security for, he is once again struck by his overwhelming attraction for the wild dog. She, however, is determined to ignore her attraction to him because of his rejection of her the night before he left all those years ago.
He pursues her relentlessly, with some help from her pack, and eventually wears her down. His antics in doing so, are really funny and kept me laughing the whole time. The dialogue is witty and the characters are definitely engaging. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next one.
