Bedded for the Italian's Pleasure

Juliet's ex-husband had stolen all her money and left her destitute, jobless, and with no marketable skills.  A childhood friend offers her enough money to pay off her utility bills if she will accompany him to his grandmother's and pretend to be his girlfriend.

It seemed harmless enough, until they arrived and she found out they were suppose to be engaged and she met his yummy cousin Rafe.

Rafe has my nomination for the most romantic hero of the year.

I bought this book, it was

I bought this book, it was just a perfect example of what a master Anne Mather is!  It just seemed perfect plot-wise, character development-wise, and chemistry-wise!

(I haven't added it to my blogs for the challenge, it's one of my backlisted books that I still have to add, but below are my thoughts on it)

This book is good enough to read again!  She's a divorced woman who was taken in by a conman.  She's pretending to be engaged to a guy who's trying to please his grandmother.  She falls in lust/love with his illegitimate cousin (the illegitimacy is a silly/trivial issue really...  inheriting the grandmother's home was made to rely on legitimacy, silly and old-fashioned).  It's wonderfully intense, seeing the hero and heroine fall into each other's arms at inappropriate times.  It's a great passion.  Anne Mather told this story perfectly, so smoothly.

A good word from Janet85

After reading so many of your reviews I think you are a good match for my tastes.  If you give the nod on a book it will get moved up in my pile.  ;-}}}

Likewise w-w-w!  I enjoy

Likewise w-w-w!  I enjoy reading your reviews because they are either about books I read/enjoyed, or about books I haven't yet seen....  which helps move them up to the top of my own TBR pile!

I love having people share the same tastes as me.  There are so many people who don't read romances in my life, and of the people who do, none of 'em are such devoted Presents fans as I am....  so no one else can understand my rants and glee over HPs!  Love sharing that with other peeps.
