4.5 Stars. Ahh! A very relaxing & enjoyable read. Emily-independent, un-complaining, brave, had a heart of gold. Renier-opionated, put his foot in his mouth a few times too many.
I really like Emily, not timid at all to voice her 'dislikes' & put Renier back in his place, which served him right. As a well-educated doctor, Renier was quite mouthy & only liked pretty girls (his own words). Renier should be worried that Emily might not love him, considering he didn't do much to try to win her heart. I think Emily should make him sweat a bit longer. Emily's loyalty was misplaced, she created a monster who might come back & bite her.
The blurb was not quite right, there was nothing about a preparation for a wedding, only the season 'winter' was correct.
