This is the third book in the series. The first two came out in 2007 and since I read them then I can't review them. Each of the four of the books tells the story of one of the Hunt brothers. Harrison Hunt was the CEO of HuntCom and after his heart attack he was determined to make his sons find someone to marry and to have children. He issued an ultimatum to his sons: "You have a year. One year. By the end of that time, each of you will not only be married, you will either already have a child or your wife will be expecting one." Also the women must marry them without knowing who they really are. Furthermore all had to agree because if one refused they all lost. If they refused he would sell off HuntCom piece by piece.
This book is about Alex Hunt who was head of the Hunt Foundation which is a philanthropic organization. Alex decided he would get a job in HuntCom's distribution center that was only a 90 minut drive from Seattle where the foundation offices were. He moved to Jansen, got a new apartment, a new name, and a new job. He became Alex Noble. He was looking for someone who would agree to marry him without knowing who he really was.....he met PJ Kincaid who was the manager of the distribution center. But PJ was not interested in falling in love with Alex but she was finding him irresistable. Then she found out who he really was and tried to distance herself from him. He was determined to get her to admit she loved him as he loved her.
I enjoyed this book.

Hey Ellen - I already put my comments in the Bride and the
Bargain, they also apply to this one, but when I reviewed this one I was still hoping for the miracle

I think I can understand the
I think I can understand the about face the boys did. Alex had the most to lose because his foundation helped a lot of people and it was dependent on the the family wealth to exist.

Yes that's my big problem, I think money is totally unimportant
without respect, and that ultimatum was the purest sign of disrespect that exists, so nasty old me who holds grudges would have cut him out of my life once I'd ensured he couldn't cut me off
I'm not a believer in all's well that ends well, that's just a copout for misbehaving and he would have had to apologize a lot for his highhandedness or reap the consequences

I'm not a grudge holder
I'm not a grudge holder usually but you are right I would have cut him out of my life once I had complied with his orders.
