Madeline Holland let herself be seduced and spent an amazing night of passion with a billionaire tycoon. The next day at a meeting for the executives at Premier Hotels in walked Lewis Goode and announced he is now majority stock holder at Premier and her new boss. Much to Madeline's surprise he is also the man she slept with. Madeline has worked hard the last 10 years to get to where she's at in business. She doesn't want people to think she slept her way to the top, so Lewis knows she'd rather quit than have people think that. Lewis wants one more night with Madeline to work her out of his system. But will one night be enough? So not only will he have to find a way to keep her in his boardroom but his bedroom too.
I thought at times Lewis could be callous but he could be charming too and the story he told of his child was heartbreaking. I think Madeline put too much emphasis on what others thought. He seemed to jump to conclusions really quickly and I think Madeline forgave him too easily. It would have looked good on him to beg a little. But all in all it was a really good book.
