My Review:

The hero is friendly with the heroine's father, who wants to find a husband for his daughter.  The hero falls in lust with the heroine, while the heroine has had a crush on the hero.  The heroine fights getting involved with him, turns him down left and right, and that it quite fun, a very different experience for the hero.  At one point, she was supposed to go away with him for a weekend, but she chickened out.  He told her she had five minutes to join him in the car, and left, then burst back in and carried her into the car, making the decision for her.  Great moment!  Scandal forces them to get married, but underneath it's what they both want.  The hero shows that in the little moments where he feels possessive of his heroine and demands they both be faithful.  I liked that the heroine was strong and held onto him in the end, putting up with scandal and trusting the hero.  I didn't feel quite as emotionally connected to this book as I did to Max & Lilli's story (their book was almost a keeper except for the ugly/sad twist at the end).  Nice dynamic between the H/h though!

My Rating: 3.5/5 stars, good read

I've been looking for this

I've been looking for this one since the last BC book.  Something about Mallery pulled at me.  I've ordered it, but the order is still in the mail.  Glad to see you enjoyed it.
