Bodine's Bounty - Charlene Sands
Oh wow! Loved this book so much. Not sure if it was because I have this unhealthy obsession with the way things used to be. I loved Little House on the Prairie when I was a child and used to want to actually be Laura - not just like her but live her life.
So the old fashioned romantic in me forgets that it must have been a dirty, smelly, disease ridden time to live in and I see the big pretty dresses, the huge underskirts, the romance, the bad boy bounty hunter ...
I was sucked in totally and read this book while I really should have been doing other stuff - like housework and packing for my holiday! Will definitely be searching out more historicals to read.
