adding for counter. review to come later since I'm ON VACATION! and not spending much time online. :-) I've been working my fanny off with clenaing and stuff though. And squeezing in some reading time.

If I was on vacation

If I was on vacation I'd say to heck with cleaning and working my fanny off. Well, I do need to work my fanny off but it's not a priority anymore. So, I'm just gonna be carrying around that extra weight cause I'd rather put reading first these days.

I am down to the last 30

I am down to the last 30 tracks on the last CD of this book.  I totally wanted to stay in the car today to finish it off, but knew I had work waiting for me.  Hope your vacation is going well even if you are cleaning.

vacations and books

if you could see my apartment before I started cleaning Deb, You'd totally understand why that had to take priority on my vacation. LOL

Cady - how are you liking it? I thought it was quite good though I kinda missed A Good Yarn and Lydia since it played a pretty small role in this book.

I did miss Lydia - wondered

I did miss Lydia - wondered what she and her hubby decided about a baby and such, but I also really enjoyed the interaction between the three and how DM twisted the wishes, but made them come through.

Macomber is just an amazing

Macomber is just an amazing author. I wish I'd have discovered her years ago. but the good thing is this means I have a LOT of books of hers I can read at any time. :-)

I liked the variation on the wishes. I think that was a big part of the theme/lesson of the story. That we may not always get what we want exactly how we want. But oftentimes it comes to us in an even better way.
