Bordering on Obsession by Susan Kearney (HB 96)

Maggie Miller wants to sleep with her boss, writer/director/producer Quinn Scott, really really really badly.  So badly that she decides to impersonate French actress Laine Lamonde to seduce Quinn at a costume ball (Laine's agent informed Maggie that Laine wouldn't make it due to mechanical problems with her private plane).  And it works - too well - Maggie and Quinn have the hottest night of their lives but when Quinn realizes the next day that Laine was no where near LA the previous night, he becomes obsessed with reconnecting with his mystery lover for another one night stand.

Maggie finds that one night wasn't enough to quench her obsession with Quinn either and soon finds herself contacting him as the mystery woman, enjoying phone sex and even agreeing to meet him in his office, although she knows she could be risking her job if Quinn discovers her true identity.  What she doesn't count on is Quinn deciding he's fallen in love with mystery Maggie.  And promoting her to Casting Director for his new movie.  Can the two find success both personal and professional?

So I should disclaim that I read this one in French - therefore I was quite distracted by Maggie and Quinn calling each other "vous" (the formal you) until the second to last chapter of the book.  Otherwise I enjoyed the book quite a bit - Maggie and Quinn have a really hot love life together and it was fun to read (particularly in French).  This being a Blaze it shouldn't surprise anyone that the rest of the plot did take a significant back seat compared to the sex, but the sex was hot so it was ok for me.  (The actual romance did suffer a bit for this, as we don't really see why Quinn and Maggie fall in love, but the sex was nice and romantic and I could overlook that.)
