Jack Maguire was turned away from his father’s house and has never forgotten that day or how much he wanted his stepsister, Sally. Now a billionaire tycoon, by a twist of fate Jack’s inherited his father’s property and has an opportunity to get revenge.
Good book. I’m a little wierded out by the stepsister thing, but at least they’d never lived together. The stepmother was horrible.

That concept doesn't work for me either although logically I know there isn't a problem with it. I also struggle with the best friend/brother/sister of a dead spouse getting together with the living spouse though....
BTW, can you believe it? I've read TWO HPs this year!!! AND liked them!!!

(check out my keeper list. And if you haven't heard me ranting and raving this week about "Wife for a Week" by Kelly Hunter, pick that HP up too if you can find a copy)
About this book... I want to read it. I skimmed it at the store though and haven't been as reeled in as I have to other books this month. So I need to just feel in the mood or get a kick in the direction of this book to make me pick it up.
Janet....
you're evil, positively evil on the book budget! But, um, I like it!!!

I'm evil on my OWN book
I'm evil on my OWN book budget. So it's only fair that I spread it and make other people just as bad as me.
Seriously... this month I've been in a REAL buying spree. I'm having a disagreement with my TBR pile. It's not making me happy lately. I've pretty much raped the shelves grabbing all the July and August books for SD/HP lines. I'm going to go pov at this rate.
