Bound To Please

Bound To Please
I was so thrilled when I read that BLAZE was going to be publishing Historicals and even more thrilled when I learned that Hope was going to be the launch author. I read Bound To Please last night and thought it was a wonderful start to what I'm sure is going to be a popular series. This was a steamy read, which you expect with this series, and the writing was tight as it had to be to fit into this series word count...I wanted more!

And as much as I enjoyed reading about Brie and Ewan, I really enjoyed the sneak peek at what has to be a follow up book with Ewan's twin brother....but I don't want to give too much away.

Ewan's brother.

I wondered if there would be another book but Hope kind of fleshed it out too much at the end(?)

Rip snorting

Actually I disagree, these books are written so tight that I'm thinking she's already dispensed with the attraction and the meeting in this one...so, that leaves her a whole book for conflict, and a rip-snorting adventure to my way of thinking....bring it ON!

Yep, Jayne, I'm figuring...

...Hope's next book will involve Ewan's brother Callum and his new lady love.  I actually liked the way she pre-fleshed it out, setting the readers up for the next story in the series.  I suspect that the characters will probably experience some rough impediments in their relationship, which, like you said in your comment, can open up a whole slew of possibilies.  It can be guaranteed that no matter how Hope writes the plot, it won't be predictable or boring.  Gotta love that quality in an author!  I absolutely fell head over heels with this book and reviewed it a few weeks ago.  Smile

Profile woes

Amanda?  Does this mean that you got your profile issues sorted out?  I'm seeing a new image etc for you...

Yes, Jayne!

I'm so relieved!  Why is it so frustrating when we run into even minor walls?  Anyway, I just sent you an email about Scott helping me.  Thanks so much for your help, Jayne!  I'll be updating some of the other blogs, so you'll be seeing my thanks everywhere on the site! LOL
