The Bride’s Baby by Liz Fielding, HR Apr 08

Events manager Sylvie Smith is organizing a wedding show in a stately home to raise money for charity. Celebrity magazine offers big dollars for Sylvie to stage her own fantasy wedding as part of the wedding “fayre”. The small hitch: Sylvie is five months pregnant. The big hitch: Longbourne Court was her ancestral home, and the new owner is hardnosed business tycoon Tom McFarlane—her baby's secret father.

The Bride's Baby
by Liz Fielding

Harlequin Romance #4016

April 2008

Miniseries: A Bride for all Seasons

ISBN: 9780373175062 (#2731)

Setting: England

Classic Liz Fielding with a likeable heroine, an alpha who isn’t as emotionally closed as he projects, and between the two an attraction that leaps off the page. In less brilliant hands the misunderstanding that keeps Sylvie and Tom apart could have driven me crazy, but Liz made it credible. Like the kind of silly misunderstanding that happens in all our lives. I loved the setting and the wedding-planning detail and all the smart banter. The opening scene is classic – read it and laugh.
