Harlequin Romance (Paperback)
#47 - 06.25.08—06.28.08
I enjoyed the conflict in this one and how it was resolved. Emotionally involving.
I recently read this paragraph in Kate Walker’s 12 Point Guide to Writing Romance:
Emotional punch is created by the feeling of emotional involvement, empathy and absorption that a reader feels when caught up in the story. It is the emotional rapport she feels with the characters and the steadily growing pace of the story and the emotional development that gives it its PTQ (Page Turning Quality).
Both this story and the last I read, Baby, I’m Yours, by Karen Templeton, had great emotional punch!
Counts: Harlequin = 39 • Other = 8 • Total = 47

This was a
beautiful story and the descriptions were awesome. Another of her favorites is The Firefighter's Chosen Bride. Two books completely different but both great books.
