This is the last book in ‘The Wedding Planners’ series. I found myself racing to the conclusion of this book and this series while trying to drag my feet. But James does not let the reader linger. She writes with such heartfelt longing and regret that the reader is drawn rapidly through the pages. I enjoyed all of this series, but something about this book made it my favorite. Thumbs up!

Yes, I really understood the loneliness of the expat's life when writing TBS...I miss my daughters something awful, my best friend, my mother. So all that went in. And I could make Matt clueless because *I* was until I'd been in that world. So easy to not think of things we don't understand.

I enjoyed this whole series, but hands down, this was my favorite. I believe that it was the emotion that leapt off the page at me--the longing, the pathos, the sweetness, the cluelessness of Matt that so reminded me of my dh. I could not set the book down and I hated reading it so fast.
