I bought this book because of the good reviews I had read for it. As a reader I was interested all the way through and as a new writer loved the way Liz wrote about the characters' attraction for each other. I could feel Sylvie and Tom's interest in each other- I could visualize it.
I have a keen interest in the aristocracy/manor houses and the plot line with Longbourne Court was very well done and poignant. Neat to find in mainstream romance.
Liz- The end was great and you kept me on the edge of my seat waiting for the resolution. No spoilers, but I thought Tom was never going to 'get' it.
