Broken Lullaby by Pamela Tracy-Love Inspired Suspense-March 08

#40-Mary Graham is finally ending the 3 yr. flight she and son,Justin have been on to hide from authorities who she feared would take him away from her. Despite the fact she was a career criminal's wife,and the local crime lord's daughter,then Justin had to be rushed to the hospital after ingesting pills he mistook for candy,Mary wasn't the type at all.

On their way to their cabin,Mary stopped to check out the used car lot she now owned.While there they discovered a young woman curled in a blanket who was looking for her missing husband. Since she was so weak,they took her with them but once they approached the cabin and saw their neighbor,Mitch Williams,who is a detective,Mary told her to run. This was only the beginning of a new adventure in Mary and Justin's lives as they now are drawn into the investigation of a baby brokering ring.

An added twist is the man panning for gold who befriends Justin,and how he plays into this. This really kept me wondering what was going to happen next,and was a very interesting read. Hard to imagine such things go on but unfortunately they do with many innocent people being pulled into the negative activities of the lawbreakers.
