Captivated by the Tycoon by Anna DePalo (SD 1775)

Back Cover:

BOSTON’S MOST ELIGIBLE BACHELOR
He was the most-sought-after male in town and he wanted Lauren Fletcher to find him a wife. Matchmaking was Lauren’s business, but she’d never thought Matt Whittaker—gorgeous, rich and powerful—would need her type of help. Yet the tycoon insisted only Lauren could get him the woman he wanted.
After spending several days—and nights—together, Lauren soon suspected that not just any woman was going to fulfill Matt’s needs. Perhaps the only woman able to capture the tycoon’s heart was the matchmaker herself!

Favourite Scene:

“Felix often hides out in my bedroom.”
“Lucky cat.”
She got goose bumps. She couldn’t help herself. He said it so matter-of-factly but with such certainty.
“I’m taking heart in the fact there’s still one male you like,” he joked.
“Felix has been neutered,” she said in a deadpan voice.
His lips twitched. “Ouch.”

My Review:

This was a pretty good story.  It was nice that they had met five years ago and had a little something flare between them.  When they met again in the present they sparked nicely off each other.  I liked how the hero wanted to be matched up with HER not any other woman she suggested.  The time when they kissed and almost got busy on her desk (they were interrupted) was steamy and a cute revelation of their attraction.  They seemed a natural couple.

My Rating; 3.5/5 stars, a good story.
