Capturing the Millionaire by Marie Ferrarella

An accident and a power outage force high power attorney Alain Dulac to spend several days in the care of Kayla McKenna and her houseful of rescued dogs. As they get to know each other they discover a common attraction, but when the lights come on, they're forced to deal with all of the differences in their lifestyles that threaten to pull them apart.

This story was ok, but the premise that a successful lawyer could be stranded in southern California because of a power outage that continues for days after the storm passes, as well as no phone service or cell signal, was a little hard to buy into. I really like the character of Kayla and her devotion to her dogs, and the way the dogs put Alain in  touch with his softer side was sweet. By the end I was rooting for these two to get together.
