Certain Girls

This book is a sequel to Jennifer Weiner's first book Good In Bed.  It's been about 13 years from the ending of the last book.  Candance's daughter, Joy, is about to be bat mitzvahed, she's married to her diet doctor husband Peter and things are going pretty good.  Of course the good times can't last forever and the family hits a few bumps in the road of life.  The book is funny, sweet, and sad all at the same time.  The story is told in the alternating voices of Candance and her daughter Joy, so you get to see things from both of their perspectives.  This was a good book.  This was one of the few book sequels where I would say this was as good or even better than the first book.
