This story was exellent!! Brand Bravo is one of Blake Bravo's many, many children: his mother Chastity had four boys with Blake; Brand's is the third story. Buck's and Brett's stories were recounted in Bravo Unwrapped and Married in Haste. It is great following the story of the various families that Blake Bravo left in his wake.
I particularly loved that this story is about two people who had the opportunity to recover the love that they had had before. Reconciliation stories rate right up there in my 'favourite themes' along with girl-next-door and best-friend turned-lover stories. Once again Christine Rimmer has come up with a remarkable journey ~ and I love the inclusion of one of the many half-siblings of the main character. Carrying the connections between the various families is another wonderful component of the outstanding series ~ in all its incarnations ~ about the Bravo Family.

FROM the BACK:
BRANDED FOR LIFE
When Charlene Cooper was eighteen, she turned to Brand Bravo in desperation...and he couldn't get away fast enough. And then ten years later, Charlene was forced to turn to him again ~ this time with a baby in her arms and a burning question in her heart: are you this little girl's father?
At twenty Brand Bravo knew that he could never be the kind of man Charlene deserved. At thirty, he knew she was the love of his life, and he would do anything to get her back. Because, once again, she needed him, for herself and the infant in her care. And this time, Brand wouldn't hesitate to be anything Charlene asked him to be. Husband. And father?

Me too...
Kate... me too.
I do enjoy series a lot ~ probably why I've always got some on the go one way or another. And considering that, until last year's challenge, I had never read anything by Christine Rimmer, I've gotta wonder just how many other excellent series that I've missed... Ah well, I've got enough ~ more than enough ~ books waiting for me to read. I really don't need to add anymore ~ but that's not stopped me yet, so . . . .
