C.J.'s Fate by Kay Hooper Bantom 2007 orig. 1984 / Audio

This book was great! C.J. was a girl after my own heart who loved nothing better than to lose herself in her books. It was originally a Loveswept Romance and they're being re-released now. This was also my first foray into downloading to an ipod. Now, that's a story in itself! The guy who sold it to me is in trouble if I find him again....

I say, easy for him to say. Luckily my son has my computer set up so he can work on it from Houston. I had several things messed up. It is pretty easy when you know what you're doing but...yeah we're dealing with the older generation here that has a hard time working her cell phone at times. Anyway back to the book this was a great listen and I even went through the book and re-read some of the chapters.

C.J. Adams is a studious librarian and perfectly happy in her single state but her matchmaking friends are always harping and helping her to find the man for her. Traveling to Aspen for her friend's wedding she's fed up with their matchmaking she's looking forward to some down time to get in more studying. History is her passion she doesn't want anything else to get in the way. She's bullied into going down to eat and spots him coming out of the elevator. A mysterious stranger, star-crossed lovers maybe, she could do this. Their eyes met, she threw him a bewitching smile, and said in a low breathy voice, " Darling, I'm so glad you could make it after all." Before her friends could blink she'd pulled him into her room, " excuse us please." What follows is C.J.'s Fate. Rating: Great Fun, Great Friends, Great Romance. If you haven't read this you should!!!
