• Lilly is swept off her feet by Nick at their friend’s wedding reception. Lilly, who thinks she can’t get pregnant, has mixed feelings when she finds out she is pregnant from one night with Nick.
• When Nick hears rumors that Lilly is pregnant he confronts her and tells her they will marry. No child of his will grow up not knowing it’s father.
Both of these characters have backgrounds that lead them in opposite directions. Nick is determined to have a whole family, Lilly is determined not to be controlled by another man.
I enjoyed this couple working out their differences. It is a very character-intensive story with very few other characters. A little more of the intimate scenes than I care for but I did like the story.
